Morph Description A Super Hypo Tangerine Carrot Tail Baldy Leopard Gecko is the brightest and most intense of all the Tangerine morphs. This is a line bred trait that is created over many years of breeding the best and the brightest tangerines to each other. The term 'Baldy' means the animal has no black spots or markings on the head and it is solid orange. These animals also have no black spots on their body, and have at least 15% carrot tail. 'Carrot Tail' is defined by solid bright orange coloration at the base of the tail of a leopard gecko. This trait is line bred and is separate from line breeding for tangerine body coloration, although the two are frequently mixed. There are a very small number of animals that have over 80% carrot tail. This morph was pioneered by Albey Scholl and continues to be the standard by which all carrot tails are judged in the industry.
