Morph Description Bandit Leopard Geckos are line bred to have a distinct bold band across the nose area. This Designer morph has also been selectively bred for reduced head spots resulting in individuals that have 3 - 4 bold well-defined head markings. This morph has a rich concentration of black pigment as adults resulting in high contrasted black spots on the head. Bandit influences will also affect body markings and pattern making them appear even bolder. Bold Striped and Bold Jungle body patterns are commonly seen in the Bandit bloodline. In fact, many breeders are line breeding for Bold Striped Bandit leopard geckos aspiring to have cleaner Stripes on the body and tail. Crossing Bandit x Bandit results in geckos with different head and body patterns. However is it important to note the that ONLY geckos with the full band across the nose should be considered as Bandits. Bandit bloodline geckos without the noseband are considered Bolds, Bold Jungles, or Bold Stripes if their body pattern is striped. The Bandit trait is more than a simple noseband - Please note that leopard geckos that randomly show a noseband are not Bandits. Only animals produced from the Bandit Bloodline should be considered 'Bandits'.
